Last month, StyleCareers.com conducted a survey of 150 fashion industry recruiters and 400 fashion industry job seekers. Their goal was to find out:

Our advice to job-seekers during an interview?

-Be prepared to answer the above questions

-Put together an interview Q&A cheat sheet and review it before your interview. You don’t need to memorize it word-for-word. In fact, you should have notes to refer to in the interview.

-If you’re asked a question that throws you off, take a deep breath and repeat the question to give yourself some time to answer

-HOW you answer interview questions is just as important as WHAT you actually say. Speak slowly, don’t forget to smile, and always look at the interview directly in the face.
