Tangerine Tango the official color of 2012! Sephora to launch collection w/Pantone

A very Happy & Orange New Year to everyone!

The Pantone Color Institute (the leading color authority that designers look to) recently announced that TANGERINE TANGO  is the OFFICIAL color of 2012!

We’re thrilled partly because we’ve always loved orange (as seen in our logo ) and it’s such a fun, wearable color that can easily transition within the 4 seasons! Plus how do you not smile when you hear “Tangerine Tango”? 🙂

We’ve already seen this vibrant, reddish-0range color on the Spring 2012 collections from Charlotte Ronson, Tommy Hilfiger, Peter Som, and Derek Lam (see below).

To celebrate the new 2012 color, Sephora has teamed up with Pantone to create a limited-edition, orange-hued makeup collection including tangerine- and orange-shaded cosmetics and beauty accessories, ranging in price from $18 to $80. These will hit Sephora stores in March.
