BBR5 – a Huge Success!
Thanks to everyone – thought leaders AND attendees who helped make our Beauty Biz Roundtable BBR5 such a success!
Held @ the gorgeous Sheraton Delfina in Santa Monica on Sept. 21st, over 70+ guests enjoyed networking with each other and executives from major beauty brands like boscia, Lipstick queen, Lather, Trilogy Fragrances, Crabtree & Evelyn, and more!
Tricia Buenvenida, Owner, Buena Beauty, LLC said “The Mazur Group Beauty Biz Roundtables are an excellent way to gather Beauty/Lifestyle experts and professionals in a casual, yet very interactive environment. I am so impressed with the caliber of attendees and thought leaders and it is a unparalled network opportunity for West Coasters. I have met many colleagues, and friends, from these roundtables!”
The topic of BBR5 was WHY EXPERTISE MATTERS with special roundtable discussions from thought leaders Nathalie Schlemer (Executive Director of Global Product Development @ Guthy-Renker), Madeline Leonard (Owner & Director of Cloutier Remix), Susan Ashbrook (Author of “Will Work for Shoes – The Business Behind Red Carpet Product Placement”), Jeff Holland (General Manager for boscia), Lori MacGregor (Marketing & Public Relations Director @ Lather), Jack Corley (Executive VP of Triogy Fragrances, LLC), Kavita Daswani (Beauty Writer & Author of “Garnering Great Press and Presence in Asia”), Nadine Jolie (Beauty/Travel Writer & Social Media Consultant) and keynote speaker Poppy King (Founder of Lipstick Queen).
Our thought leaders spoke about topics ranging from Finding your Niche in the Marketplace, Celebrity Product Placement, Garnering Great Press and Presence in Asia, and more!
Whether you’re a job-seeker looking to work in the beauty industry or a beauty industry professional searching for a new business contact, our BBR events are perfect for you!
Vicky Radovsky said she attended BBR5 because she was “looking for a new job within the beauty industry and couldn’t find a beauty-specific networking event like BBR”.
Helen Crutchfield (Vice President Kim Vo Hair Care) said “This was my first Beauty Biz Roundtable and I found it intriguing, informative and inspiring. I have already told several of my colleagues they should attend the next one and I cannot wait to see how this platform and celebration of the beauty business continues to grow.”
With complimentary parking, tasty cocktails & hors d’oeuvre, AND a beauty-filled goodie bag, BBR5 attendees walked away at the end of the night with new business contacts, job opportunities, and more!
Stay tuned to find out when our next BBR event is!
