New Beauty Product Launches: Fergie for Wet n Wild & Lush Makeup
Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson has always had her own sense of style. “I don’t care what other people think — it’s more important that I feel comfortable. Fashion’s about being creative,” Fergie said. We couldn’t have said it better! So is it any surprise that she’s launching her own line of Wet n Wild nailpolish? Like Fergie herself, her nail polish hues aren’t for wallflowers; colors include lime green, hot pink, metallics, and glittery top coats. And with each bottle priced at a reasonable $3.50, having fabulous hands was never so easy. Her collection is in-stores now so check it out the next time you’re at your local drugstore. You know Lush from it’s bath products so you’ll be glad to know they’re finally launching a makeup collection called “Emotional Brilliance!” According to Lush, it’s been a 2-year development process and was created to match the psychological needs of the consumer choosing which color they desire. An “Emotional Brilliance Color Wheel” (pictured below) offers a personalized color reading which asks customers to choose the 3 colors that stand out the most and uncover certain words that reveal a little about their current state of mind.
The makeup collection consists of mascara, translucent powder and a range of eye and lip colors and will be available on July 21. Each of the lip and eye colors is assigned a character attribute, and the ones you select on the wheel will supposedly give you insights into your personality. Products in the line can be worn to depths of color or lighter to sheer. Like other Lush products, the packaging is environmentally friendly.
