Oct Breast Cancer Awareness Month – Running for the Cause!

This month marks the annual Breast Cancer Awareness month in which brands ranging from fashion, beauty, food and other consumer products donate a portion (in some cases, 100%) of their proceeds to Breast Cancer charities.

We’ve grown accustomed to seeing the usual products labeled with the pink ribbon but here’s something unique – how about running for the cause?

The next time you’re @ your gym, look out for a pink Cybex treadmill. Gyms across the nation have installed these pink treadmills as part of Cybex’s 3rd Annual Pink Ribbon Run. For the entire month of October, Cybex will donate 10 cents per mile logged to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Now that’s what we call truly “working” for a good cause!

We’re a little disappointed that there’s only 1 gym so far in the ENTIRE state of California that’s involved with Cybex’s cause. According to Cybex, Spectrum Clubs in El Segundo is the ONLY CA-located gym that has a Cybex pink treadmill.
