Swedish-born Strand grew up in London and was a makeup artist and working behind the scenes at runway shows and editorial shoots by the age of 16. Beauty definitely runs in the Strand family as seen in the founding of the Pixi brand by Sara and her 2 makeup-artist sisters, Petra and Sofia. Sara shortly branched out on her own, creating the POPBeauty line based on her desire for fun and playful makeup.
So by day, Sara is a makeup artist and creative director for POPBeauty, but by night, she’s rocking on stage with her band (Sara is a singer AND songwriter).
