How do you define beauty?
The Annenberg Space for Photography asks that question and more with its newest exhibit “Beauty CULTure.”
The exhibit examines the role of photography in defining beauty, its traditions, extremes and more with over 170 images captured by the world’s leading photographers. From the glorious to the gory, Beauty CULTure is designed to spark discussion and debate of what, exactly, beauty is.
This beautifully curated exhibit also examines the glorification of beauty, as well as the multi-billion dollar beauty industry. The Digital Gallery extends the experience with a short documentary film featuring interviews with photographers, models and beauty experts.
Beauty CULTure’s opening gala was attended by celebrities, models and other industry notables such as Halle Berry, Katie Holmes, Gisele Bundchen, Dita Von Teese, Jamie Lee Curtis, Petra Nemcova, Wallis Annenberg, Lauren Greenfield, Darryl Hannah, Sofia Bush, and more.
This is a not-to-be-missed event for any one who works in the beauty industry. See Beauty CULTure, and then post your thoughts here or on the Mazur Group Facebook page (www.facebook.com/mazurgroup)
