Please share 3 key points from your Roundtable discussion, “What does it mean to be “Prestige” Consumer-Centric?”

1) How can your business be disruptive for yourselves or your clients?

What do beauty professionals need to do to continue to connect with today’s beauty consumer?

They need to look at talent outside of the beauty industry as it continues to lag in technology, fresh ideas and strategy that lead to exponential growth.

What do you see as the latest trends in your industry?

Devices that works on the muscles of the skin since that is the architecture of the face. No amount of products, light therapy and surgery will address weak muscles. We must keep our facial contours firm and toned, in the same way we have to exercise to tone our bodies and not just rely on diet alone.

The StriVectinLABS Facial Toner which is FDA-approved, utilizes the same advanced electrotherapy used in doctors’ offices and high-end spas. The Facial Toner gently stimulates the nerves that control the major facial muscles for a younger looking appearance.

Losing her husband of more than 20 years to an unexpected massive heart attack, just three weeks after relocating and assuming the CEO role at Astral, re-shaped Ms. Wong’s view of her personal and professional life.  She now serves on the Board of the American Heart Association to raise the awareness of preventing heart diseases. She chaired the 2011 annual Go-Red Luncheon for Women in Atlanta raising more than $300,000 for the cause of addressing heart diseases.  She also previously served on the boards of the Atlanta Chapter of the YMCA and the Who’s Who in the Asian American Communities.
